Triune Advancement Academy is dedicated to providing training that guarantees a solid understanding of the most important networking protocols. We do this in a classroom setting augmented with tutoring sessions, and hands-on training. Ultimately our mission is to have our graduates leave with the ability to get work as LAN Techs, or be ready to advance their career potential by obtaining Network+ and CCNA certifications.

What We Teach

There are 3 courses we teach designed to give all of our students the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to get a job in the Information Technology Networking field.

The Network Plus (Network+) course provides a foundation for a network career. It focuses on identifying network devices and how they combine to create functional devices. The class describes different types of media connectors, protocols and address formats. It concentrates on network typologies, management and security. The LAN Tech course will prepare you for the position of Local Area Network Technician. The course is structured to give the theory and foundation for the work performed in the field. During the class you will perform hands-on tasks that utilize and enforce the skills learned.

After completion of this course you will be able to do the following:

• Test and configure a NIC card to determine if It is working properly.

• Terminate CAT 6 cable.

• Configure ports on switches and routers.

• Troubleshooting a network for connectivity issues.

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Association) certification, is widely respected through-out the world as it substantiates the knowledge and skills of a certified Cisco specialist. Our training prepares you for positions, such as, Systems Engineer, Network/LAN Manager, Network Administrator, Security Professional, IT Architect / Manager.

At the completion of this course you will have a thorough knowledge of:

• TCP/IP

• Layers of the OSI model

• How routing protocols work and how to configure them

• Basic configuration and troubleshooting of switches and routers

• Implementation of Access Lists

• IP addressing and their importance in sub-netting networks

• A foundation understanding of Cisco wireless technology.
